Nava Schorsch

Nava was born in Berkeley, CA, in 2000 and raised by Jewish hippies in New York City. She spent two and a half years learning experientially around the world during Covid before graduating from Hampshire College with a B.A. in Political Science and Theater. She is passionate about emergent ritual, fostering community (specifically through elaborate dinners), and building collaborative and creative spaces for all people (especially youth). As a Dorot Fellow, Nava looks forward to returning to her artistic practices, including writing music and poetry, while exploring the many histories and heartbreaks of this Land through dialogue, text study, grief work, movement, and film.
